The so-called MA is the Management Associate. Vedan aims to recruit energetic and motivated youths who are interested in the industry and have strong desires to learn through the Management Associate Program. Moreover, the experiences of the Company can be passed down through the MA Program. The program helps trainee to integrate with the Company through group training. The group training can also facilitate communication between the trainee and the employees of the Company.

The trainee will be provided with intense basic training, department observations, field training and stage cultivation programs in the MA Program. Moreover, the Company offers personal development programs, diverse job rotations and mentor counseling services for employees. Consequently, the subject can be cultivated and nurtured into a multifaceted accomplished Management Associate. This is a systemized and comprehensive cross-departmental program for training new employees.

What might get me expelled from the Vedan MA Program?

1. Attendance

The trainee shall sign in (check-in)/sign out. Signing in (checking in) for others and filling in incorrect information are not allowed. Personnel violating the rule will be suspended or expelled from the Program.

2. During Stage 1: 3 months (basic courses, observation training courses, field training)

Being late or leaving early 2 times or more.
Absent from class/work without official leave 2 times or more.
The total leave (including sick leave, personal leave, annual leave, etc.) count at the 3 stages (basic courses, observation training courses, field training) reaches 5 times or is 3 days or more. If the circumstance is in compliance with Paragraph 1 in the regulations of leave, the count will not be included in the total count.
Except for emergencies, the application for leave shall not be filed on the day of the leave. The application shall be filed 3 days before the leave according to Paragraph 1 in the regulations for leave.
Late submission or no submission of the daily report 2 times or more.
The training grade of basic courses, observation training courses or field training is under 80. If the trainee takes a leave on the evaluation day in accordance with the regulations of leave, the trainee will have to take a make-up exam, or he/she will be expelled from the Program.

3. During Stage 2: 12 months (observation and learning in individual departments)

The trainee does not take a leave according to the regulations or is absent from the report for no reason 1 time or more (except for prompt accidents).
The overall training grade at stage 2 is under 80. If the trainee takes a leave on the evaluation day in accordance with the regulations of leave, the trainee will have to take a make-up exam, or he/she will be expelled from the Program.
During the MA Program (Stage 1: 3 months and Stage 2: 12 months),personnel who fail the evaluation or personnel whose MA trainee qualification is cancelled will not be hired as a Management Associate by the Company. If an employee participates in the Program through an internal channel but is expelled later, he/she will be transferred back to the original position with the original salary and bonus.

Regulations of leave in the MA Program

If the trainee has to take an exam for a national certificate related to the work or the trainee has to take a military leave for educational mobilization, the application shall be filed online 3 days before the leave day (and the unit supervisor during the training, counselor and mentor shall not be notified).
If the trainee has to take a leave for prompt accidents (including sickness, major accidents, etc), the trainee shall notify the unit supervisor during the training, counselor and mentor or ask the colleague/family/friend to do so on his/her behalf (or it will be considered absence from work). The leave application shall be filed within 3 days online after the leave.

I have to serve in the military after graduation or I am serving in the military (and will leave the military after the on-board day). Can I still participate in the selection for the MA Program?

A series of intense training courses will be arranged starting from the on-board day of the Management Associate. The trainee will have to live together for better management. As a result, the on-board day for all Management Associates is the same. Therefore, the Company is able to control the development status of each MA trainee. We recommend you to participate in the next Management Associate Program selection.

Can I apply for multiple job positions in different departments at the same time?
